This 5-day educational tour to Azerbaijan offers educators a unique opportunity to delve into the country’s dynamic schooling system while exploring the rich cultural heritage of Baku and its surroundings. Participants will gain insights into Azerbaijani teaching methods, pedagogy, and student-parent interactions by visiting local schools and engaging with educators. Alongside professional learning, the journey includes guided explorations of Baku’s iconic landmarks, such as the Flame Towers and the Maiden Tower, and a visit to the scenic Gobustan National Park.
This blend of professional development and cultural immersion ensures that educators return with a deeper understanding of Azerbaijan’s education system and a renewed appreciation for its vibrant culture.
Upon arrival in Baku, participants will be welcomed and transferred to their hotel. The evening will be reserved for a welcome dinner, where they can connect with fellow educators and gain an introduction to the Azerbaijani education system. The night will be spent relaxing and preparing for the days ahead.
The second day will be dedicated to visiting local schools in Baku, where educators will observe classroom settings, interact with teachers and students, and learn about Azerbaijan’s distinctive teaching methods and pedagogical practices. Special attention will be given to how schools handle student development and parent involvement. In the evening, participants will gather for a discussion session to reflect on their observations and share insights.
After an intense day of learning, the third day will offer a break from the academic focus, allowing participants to explore Baku’s rich cultural heritage. They will visit iconic sites such as the Old City (Icherisheher), the Flame Towers, and the Baku Boulevard. The day will end with a traditional Azerbaijani dinner, where participants can experience the local cuisine and further immerse themselves in the culture.
