Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong and Cultural Introduction

After settling in, the group will embark on a guided tour of Hong Kong’s most iconic landmarks, including Victoria Peak and the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui. This introduction to the city’s history, culture, and modern-day vibrancy will set the tone for the educational journey ahead. The day ends with a traditional Cantonese dinner, giving students a taste of local flavors.
Day 2: University Visit and City Exploration
The second day begins with an academic visit to one of Hong Kong’s renowned universities, where students will participate in discussions with university faculty, gaining insights into higher education in Asia. Afterward, they will visit the Hong Kong Science Museum for an interactive learning experience that highlights the city’s advancements in technology. In the evening, students will explore the vibrant Temple Street Night Market, experiencing the local lifestyle and culture.
Day 3: Macau - Cultural Exchange and School Visit
After breakfast, students will travel to Macau for an educational exchange at one of the partner schools. The day will be dedicated to interaction with local students, allowing participants to engage in collaborative learning and cultural exchange activities. In the afternoon, the group will explore Macau’s historic landmarks, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ruins of St. Paul’s and Senado Square. The day concludes with a relaxing evening by the beach, where students can enjoy the coastal charm of Macau.
Day 4: Educational Workshops and Macau Exploration
Students will spend the day attending workshops and seminars at the partner school, participating in hands-on activities focused on Macau's unique blend of Portuguese and Chinese cultures. The remainder of the day will be devoted to exploring Macau’s cultural treasures, such as the Macau Museum and the A-Ma Temple, immersing in the rich traditions of the region. In the evening, students will enjoy a lively cultural performance, showcasing Macau’s vibrant arts scene.
Day 5: Return to Hong Kong and Adventure Day
The fifth day offers an exhilarating experience as students return to Hong Kong and venture to the beaches of Lantau Island. The group will visit the famous Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery, learning about the spiritual and cultural heritage of Hong Kong. In the afternoon, students will enjoy a cable car ride over the island, offering panoramic views of the city’s natural beauty. The day wraps up with some leisure time, where students can shop or relax.
Day 6: Reflection and Departure
On the final day, students will have a reflective session to discuss their key learnings from the trip, focusing on their experiences with cultural exchange and academic engagement. After a group photo and farewell, the students will transfer to the airport for their flight home, bringing back lasting memories of their journey through Hong Kong and Macau.
